For supervisors
Say yes from the cashier's counter.
Price changes, discounts, returns and cash paid out come to you on the cashier's own register. You approve with a six-digit PIN, and the approval covers exactly what you were shown.
A supervisor's shift
Supervisors sell like anyone else, and handle the moments a cashier can't.
Set your approval PIN
In the register's Settings, confirm your WordPress password and choose a six-digit PIN. Easy ones like 123456 are refused.
Set up a new register
Sign in on a new device once and choose its register. Cashiers who sign in there use it from then on.
Approve at the counter
When a cashier asks, choose yourself from the list and type your PIN, or use the on-screen keypad. The digits are never read aloud.
The register says: “4 of 6 digits entered”
Handle returns
Refund to the original payment, or exchange for store credit. You can also find a website order by its number or the customer's email and return it at the counter.
Keep an eye on the cash
See the expected cash while drawers are open, and close another register's drawer from Recent drawers in Reports.
Check the day's sales
Sales reports by date, location, register and cashier, with an hourly chart that screen readers get as a table.
What you can do
On your own
- Everything a cashier can do, without asking anyone
- Approve price changes, discounts, returns, tax-exempt sales and cash paid out for others
- Return a website order at the counter
- See the expected cash and close any register's drawer
- Run sales reports
- Edit the favorites for a location
- Set up a device as a register, its receipt printer and the card reader's customer display
- Turn off training mode on a register
Left to a store manager
- Add locations and registers, and choose each register's card reader
- Choose which locations each person can work at
- Turn on training mode for a register or a person
- Change the register's settings, such as the idle lock
- Reset someone's PIN, and read the audit log
Approvals you can trust
A PIN approval is quick at the counter and strict on the server, so nobody can stretch it.
- Exactly what you saw
- Each approval is for one action on one register: the same order, amount and items you were shown. Change anything and it's refused.
- Single use, two minutes
- An approval can be used once, and expires after 120 seconds.
- Protected against guessing
- Five wrong PINs pause you on that register for 15 minutes, so a lockout at one counter doesn't stop approvals at the others.
- Plain words, every time
- The dialog says what you're approving, such as “Canvas Tote Bag: $18.00 each instead of $22.00, quantity 1.”
- On the record
- Approvals are written into the order notes and the audit log, with who approved them.
- Blind counts for cashiers
- Cashiers count the drawer without the expected figure. You see it, so you can spot a problem before close.

Store managers are WooCommerce shop managers and WordPress administrators. You can adjust any role’s permissions in WordPress, and the register follows them.
